Grilled Eggplant (2 servings)
Japanese eggplants : 4
Grated, fresh ginger: 2 teaspoons
Bonito flakes: 2 tablespoons
1. Heat grill. Place eggplants on the grill. Roll on the grill to cook them evenly till they are softened and the skins are burnt.
2. Peel the skin under running water.
3. Cut the stem off the eggplants and place them onto a plate.
4. Sprinkle bonito flakes and soy sauce on top before serving.
