The British Ship “Caledonian Sky” makes a Port of Call to Hagi Port
On April 16, 2016 under clear skies, the British cruise ship “Caledonian Sky” made a port of call to Hagi Port. In the welcoming ceremony, after the welcoming speech by Mayor Koji Nomura of Hagi City, students from Hagi Koen High School gave an introduction of the city in English and Yonehara Shachu, a traditional dance troupe, performed “Otokonara”, a local dance of Hagi.
In the morning, the visitors toured the city and in the afternoon, they took a shuttle bus to go shopping and do other events. They spent their last day touring around Hagi.
