Pre-Destination Campaign Special! Enjoy Yamaguchi’s Manpuku's Journey: Stations of Supreme Bliss Tour (Four Fortunes)!
A tour campaign will be held as follows, where visitors to the four “Fuku no Eki” stations in the prefecture can receive a “visitor’s certificate” and other gifts.
About the “Fuku Station” Prize.
Yamaguchi Prefecture is famous for its specialty products, fugu (puffer fish), a popular delicacy in Japan.
In Japanese, “fugu” is pronounced as “fuku,” a pronunciation that also carries the meaning of “happiness.
“Fuku” which represents “happiness” is written with the kanji character ‘福’. Yamaguchi Prefecture has four stations that include this auspicious character “福” in their name including Fukugawa, Fukue, Jifuku, and Ofuku.
Additionally, there is a station named “Tonomi,” which signifies vast wealth.
Yamaguchi Prefecture is running a campaign throughout 2025 where visitors (applicants) who visit these five “Stations of Happiness” will receive a visitor’s certificate and other prizes.
Take this opportunity to enjoy your own little journey exploring Yamaguchi Prefecture's local railways!
