Hiroshima Station：Meeting Point（広島駅：集合）
This tour operates on Wednesdays and Fridays, departing from Hiroshima Station North Exit at 10時00分 AM and returning to the same location around 5時30分 PM.

With the tour starting at 10時00分 AM, you can travel to Hiroshima from Osaka or Kyoto via Shinkansen on the day of the tour, or you can stay overnight in Hiroshima before or after the tour.

The tour destination, Iwakuni City, is known as the “Samurai Town” and is also a sake producing region. It produces a rich variety of Japanese sake, including the globally renowned “Dassai”.

This tour visits Murashige Sake Brewery Co.,Ltd. , a brewery that continues to craft the beloved local sake “Kinkan-Kuromatsu.”
You'll observe the valuable sake making process by craftsmen and have an opportunity to participate in a sake tasting session.

Iwakuni Sushi ：Lunch（岩国寿司：昼食）
Lunch features “Iwakuni Sushi,” a local specialty of Iwakuni.
（昼食の「岩国寿司」は、岩国の郷土料理である。）
It is made by pressing together chirashi sushi, a dish where finely chopped ingredients (such as egg, shiitake mushrooms, and conger eel) are scattered over vinegared rice. Its vibrant, colorful appearance makes it a popular, auspicious meal for celebratory occasions.
（酢飯の上に細かい具材（卵、シイタケ、アナゴ等）をばら撒いた「ちらし寿司」を押し固めたもので、色鮮やかなで華やかな見た目から、祝いごとの席でも好んで食される縁起の良い食事である。）
On this tour, you will be able to place the ingredients on the vinegared rice and press the sushi together to complete the dish.

Kintaikyo Bridge（錦帯橋）
The tour's major highlight, Kintaikyo Bridge, was constructed about 450 years ago under the direction of the local feudal lord of the Kikkawa clan.

This bridge is ApproximaTely 200m long, features a globally rare five-arch wooden structure and is counted among Japan's Three Famous Bridges.

Looking up from beneath the bridge reveals the beautiful “timber framing” structure showcasing the craftsmen's traditional skills. Viewing the bridge from the riverbank downstream allows you to enjoy the beautiful scenery composed of the Kintaikyo Bridge, the Nishiki River, and Iwakuni Castle.

Kikko Park Area（吉香公園エリア）
Crossing the Kintaikyo Bridge from the city center, the area on the castle side was once a samurai residential district lined with samurai residences. Remnants of this history, such as the Kagawa Family Nagayamon Gate and the Former Mekada Residence, can still be seen today.
（市街地から錦帯橋を渡った城側のエリアは、かつては武家屋敷が並ぶサムライの居住地域であり、現在もその遺構の一部である香川家長屋門・旧目加田家住宅等を実際に見ることができる。）
The rest of the area is developed as a park, offering seasonal charm such as cherry blossoms in spring and autumn foliage in fall. Nearby attractions include Kikko Shrine, which is deeply connected to the feudal lord of the Kikkawa clan, the Kikkawa Family Graveyard, and the Iwakuni Chokokan Museum.

Kashiwabara Museum（柏原美術館）
Alongside Kintaikyo Bridge, the Kashiwabara Museum is a major highlight of the tour.
It houses ApproximaTely 6,000 valuable artifacts, primarily ancient art and ceramics, including National Important Cultural Properties and Prefectural Designated Cultural Properties.

Inside the museum, about 250 items are displayed, including actual weapons and armor used by samurai, elegant furnishings from daimyo families, folding screens, paintings, and letters.
It was published in the Michelin Guide as a museum that displays ancient Japanese martial weapons.
It is also highly popular as a pilgrimage site for fans of the popular game “Touken Ranbu,” which was inspired by the museum’s collection.
