A foreign cruise ship Costa Venezia calls at Port Shimonoseki Choshu-Dejima for the first time!
On August 11th, 2019, an Italian cruise ship Costa Venezia which went into service this March called at Port Shimonoseki Choshu-Dejima for the first time within the prefecture.
The number of passengers was 5166, the largest number of guests in a cruise ship to call in Yamaguchi.
Following the port of call, a welcome reception was held where flowers were presented and mementos were exchanged.
Under the sun of a midsummer day, the guest enjoyed touring Karato Fish Market and Shimonoseki city.
