First Port of Call by the British ship “Caledonian Sky” to Arcaport, a Port of Shimonoseki!

On May 7, 2016, the British cruise ship “Caledonian Sky” made a port of call to Arcaport, a Port of Shimonoseki. This marks the first port of call by Caledonian Sky to Arcaport. On that day, various events were organized by Shimonoseki City.
Visitors first took a tour of the city, went to tourist sites such as Hagi and Akiyoshidai plateau, and experienced Japanese culture such as wearing traditional Japanese clothing and playing kendama at the amusement park, Haikara’t Yokocho, located next to the wharf.
