On May 16th, 2019, a foreign cruise ship Silver Explorer called at Port Hagi for the first time.
During the welcome reception following her port of call, a speech was made in English by students from Hagikoengakuin High School, creating a friendly atmosphere.
Flowers and a memento were presented as well.
After the welcome reception, the guests enjoyed touring Hagi city in the nice weather.
